Collaborating with distinguished international partners to help promote the work of Commonwealth musicians.
About Us
Our organisation consists of a small core management team and a much larger group of supporters and volunteers working closely together to assist Commonwealth musicians. We also invite experienced professional artists and animateurs to operate as Team Leaders and to initiate specific performances, workshops, seminars and projects under the umbrella of The Commonwealth Resounds!
Our Partners
We greatly value our partnerships with a steadily increasing number of distinguished organisations and individuals throughout the Commonwealth. Our team is always actively seeking new ideas, partners and collaborations. We are also delighted to receive suggestions from young musicians, and strongly encourage them to contact us.
Current Projects
In November 2009, The Commonwealth Resounds! will be incorporated into the 2009 Commonwealth People's Forum linked to the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meetings in Trinidad and Tobago. We shall be working closely with partners in the host country, and helping to support initiatives between performers from different cultural traditions.
Previous Projects
The Commonwealth Resounds! first took place in Malta linked to the Commonwealth People's Forum/CHOGM 2005. Since that time the organisation's work has been developed considerably by managers, partners and team leaders, who ran seven fascinating musical projects in Uganda as part of the CPF/CHOGM 2007.
