Elijah Kiwalabye is a Christian minister in his local Church. He is the Founder/Executive director of Thrive Music Academy Africa based in Kampala Uganda.

As well as being a Professional Primary Teacher who graduated from Kyambogo University – Uganda, Elijah is a Multi Talented Musician who was inspired by his mother Nanyonga Margret. She taught him and his siblings Church hymns, poetry and African folk songs with the accompaniment of jerrycans for drums.

Currently, Elijah teaches both African native Music instruments and the Western Music instruments. Through his Non Profit Music organization, he has discovered and nurtured talents among very many young people of different age groups within different communities of Uganda some of which have always been excelling in the International Music Examinations organized by the Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) – U.K .

He has also directed a number of Children’s choirs including Thrive Music Academy Africa that took part in the singing of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee song for Commonwealth and also during the Coronation Concert of His Majesty King Charles III which was broadcasted live on BBC News.

Elijah is also the current Chairperson of the Pan African Choir Uganda and a choral singer.
