Caryl Edwards-Lewis is a graduate of Hampton University, Virginia who holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music and a Master in Teaching, with a concentration on Music Education since 2003. She has served as a Master Teacher and Deputy Principal respectively at the Antigua Girls’ High School up to September 2022. Presently, she is the acting Education Officer responsible for Performing Arts (Music/Theatre Arts/Dance) in the Ministry of Education, Sports and Creative Industries in Antigua and Barbuda.
Mrs. Lewis was selected as an elite scholar by her university to travel and tour the Western and Central countries in Europe. Also, she was selected to participate in a U.S. Cultural Exchange program by the African and Hispanic Diaspora within the Americas. Locally, she has been a CXC music moderator and an examiner for a number of years. She is the local representative to Trinity Guildhall College of Music, London, as well as, she instructs private music lessons and always seeks to create avenues and recitals where young budding musicians can gain enriching experiences.

Moreover, she enjoys travelling, hiking, camping, swimming and baking. Furthermore, Mrs. Edwards-Lewis is the wife of Adrian Lewis and has produced three active children – Adryl, Cadyn, Caryn.
