J​​une Potifara is a New Zealand Registered Music Therapist. She works with neurodiverse children, alongside those with multiple and complex physical disabilities. Additionally, she works within the adult mental health sector. She obtained a Bachelor of Music (Honours) from the University of Waikato where she majored in Classical Voice Performance. During this time, she performed and competed in various events and competitions throughout the country. She has also recently completed her Masters of Music Therapy at Victoria University of Wellington. Alongside her music therapy work, she continues to perform for a wide range of events throughout New Zealand.

June prides herself in being able to weave her diverse musical background and experiences into her work and practice. Being a proud Samoan woman, she strives to uphold and implement Pasifika values and knowledge throughout her work. She is passionate about weaving stories and cultures, whilst supporting others to explore and express themselves through music in whatever way, shape, or form.

Inbal is Associate Professor and Head of Cello Studies at Victoria University of Wellington, and has held positions at Oberlin Conservatory, Yale School of Music, and Vienna University of Art. She has given masterclasses and adjudicated at institutions, festivals and competitions globally. An intensive concert schedule has brought her to Europe, Asia, and America, including performances at the Kennedy Center,  Carnegie Hall and with the Berlin Symphony at the Philharmonie and Staatsoper. Inbal works to promote and perform the music of suppressed composers, helping to give a voice to women and minority musicians. She has upcoming recording releases of works by Clara Schumann, an album of works by Forbidden Composers, and her recording of the Bach Cello Suites on the Atoll label is scheduled for release in 2024.
